Jim had an impressive and illustrious career at Lucent Technologies (now Alcatel-Lucent) that spanned 34 years. His final position held at Lucent was CIO Business Development and Strategic Relationships Vice President. In this position, Jim organized innovative CIO programs for Leadership Training, SAP Business Relationships, Consultant Management, Communications and Centers of Expertise.
Jim is well known in the High Tech Industry since he organized and lead the SAP User Group of over 400 companies. Jim also organized the first Lucent Knowledge Mangement Initiative that included the formation of 72 communities and reached over 8,000 Lucent associates.
Jim started his career in 1966 following graduation from the Illinois Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Math/Computer Science and he also there finished his MBA in 1969. During his long career at Lucent, he has held several postitions in factory management, chemical engineering management, customer service, and materials management.
Jim is also is an active member and volunteer in his church and community.
